I conceived of the film as imaging a gay man and his straight friend on a crash course as sexually non-conforming perverts who ignore the rails of normative heterosexuality. In the climax the two men have sex with a woman in the presence of their girlfriends and grandmothers, who are completely unaware. Obscenity, a movie, anime and do it yourself are inextricably intertwined in a rebellious experience.
